F.A.Q. (frequently asked questions) Answers to frequently asked questions: If I want to call you how do I reach you? Yes: We have measured the course using a GPS watch and checked it three different times with three different runners. That is the best we can do, as you know GPS will vary slightly from time to time but it’s the best we can offer for you. Feel free to check it out on your own watch if you have time prior to the race. There will be mile markers on the course. Can I register for the race at the packet pick-up location? Parking? ... where do we park? Will there be awards given out to the race winners? Is there a refund policy for this race?

YES...Volunteers are greatly appreciated and needed! Please visit the Volunteer Info link on this site to get all the information needed on being a volunteer. The Pre-Race volunteer meeting will be announced soon for course review and task assignments.
Will there be port-o-potties along the course?
No: Porta Potties will be at the race day start only
Can I walk the course?
Yes: you have 90 minutes to finish the 10k, thats about 15minutes plus per mile. Sooo... walkers are welcome, stroller moms, and walking clubs.
Is the course accurately measured and marked?
When and where is and what is Package pickup?
Package pickup is on Friday Sept 23 from 5:00pm to 8:00 pm
Simi Valley Fair and Music festival front gate, corner of Royal and Erringer -Look for the Race event banner. this is where you pickup your race timing chip, race bib #, and race day t-shirt, ask your pre- race questions, check out the course map.

YES...You can register for the race at the package pick-up There are NO Discounts Package pickup and we only accept cash or credit cards, NO CHECKS. You can also register on line or by sending in the registration form. The on line registration closes Sept 23 at 6:00 pm . There is no race day registration.
Starting Line Location?
Rancho Simi community park 1765 Royal Avenue Simi Valley CA 93065. Corner of Roayal and Thomson.
If you are at the race EARLY you may get a parking space at Rancho Simi Park, if its full you can park at Royal High School about 2 blocks down Royal ave on the left hand side.
Can I pick up my race packet on race day??
YES...you can pick up your race packet on race day, but we advise you to come early!! There may be hundreds of people doing the same and it may take a little time. We advise you to go to the packet pick-up Friday before race day instead. Last minute check in on race day begins at 6:00 a.m. and ends at 6:45 a.m. There is NO race day registration.
Can I pick up someone else's race items if they can not make it out on Friday ?
YES...you can pick up a friend or relatives items bring a note from them signed by them that you are picking up thier number.
YES... Yes we will have some cool swag for the top three overall finishers in each race. And some other cool swag for everyone else at the post race bib number call out. I randomly call out bib numbers and if you are still there you get what ever i am handing out at that time.
When will results be posted?
Race results will be posted as follows:
5k preliminary results will be posted at approx. 7:45 a.m ish
10k preliminary results will be posted at approx. 8:00 a.m. ish
Sorry but no...there are no refunds! But you can defer your entry to another one of our races in the future. Checkout our link to Our Other Events page to see what is available throughout 2012. If you choose a race with a higher entry fee, you will be required to pay the difference. When you choose another race you would like to do just email us and we will get you set for that race.
